Dr. Alenick received his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He completed his pediatric residency at Schnieder Children's Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY followed by a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at NYU Medical Center and a research fellowship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. His interests include echocardiography, the care of adults with congenital heart disease and the use of databases and computers in clinical medicine.
Dr. Alenick was recognized as Physician Of The Year in 1996 by Hippocrates magazine for his innovative use of the Internet to save the life of a seriously ill Peruvian child.
